Workin' it with the Heiners!

Matt and I met this amazing family at BYU. Michael was also in the ROTC program (DET 855 holla!!) and they commissioned into the Air Force together in April. So before we all left Utah forever, we decided we had better get some photos taken of this adorable family!

Please forgive me...there are SO MANY of their little Lily--she's so incredibly cute. Seriously. This girl kept yelling out "picture, picture!". Now that's my kind of friend!!!

Thanks for letting me take your pictures you guys! We had a blast, and I hope we cross paths again sometime during our Air Force careers! I wish we would have hung out more :( We'll see you again soon!!

Meet the Heiners!

We couldn't get Lily to focus once we got near the water. She loved trying to look under that bridge.

Here's Lily in her little tu-tu! She's bustin a move. Get it girl!

Probably my all time fave. Isn't she a natural??

Valgardson Family

I met this cute little family back at Katie and Brandon's wedding and they pretty much booked us there for their family session. We waited about another month to do their pictures, but I think the wait was well worth it! The non-stop Utah rain made the scenery soooo green, which made their cute matching blue outfits pop. I love the vibrant colors from this session!

Little Gavin was only 4 months old during this family session, but he was such a good little man. Up until we got near the very intriguing water, little Gavin was so attentive and so well-behaved. And then as soon as we got to the water, he absolutely did not want to make eye contact. You'll see what a mean in a second :)

Thanks so much to Chantille, Coby and Gavin for letting me capture this moment in your little adorable family! I had such a great time with you guys, and I'm so grateful for clients like you three. You made the session so relaxed and so fun, and a photographer couldn't wish for anything more! You guys rocked!

this is them laughing....pretty much at me haha I moved because Gavin was mesmerized by the water so I thought I could move into his line of sight. And then, as soon as I moved, he decided to look where I moved from. Go figure. He ain't no fool.

Love his big beautiful eyes

kristen & andrew [3.14.09]

sorry everyone. turns out, i have the BEST clients EVER! you just wouldn't understand. this includes these two--Kristen and Andrew. i cannot even begin to describe how cute these two were with each other. the love in their eyes for each other was unmistakable, and they were so comfortable with each other, even in front of the camera. on friday, we got together at Rock Castle Park for a quick family/bride and groom shoot, and then they were married the following day with a reception at the Springville Museum of Art. i enjoyed this shoot so much and thank this amazing couple for being so fun to be around! here are a few photos from our weekend full of photography.

Eric & Jessie--Engagements AND Bridals

A week ago on a very cold, rainy day we met up with Eric & Jessie at Rock Castle Park to photograph their engagements--AND some bridals for her! This couple knows how to get things done! We thought it would rain the entire session, but after we started shooting the rain let up a little and we were able to have some fun in the slushy snow. Eric & Jessie are so incredibly cute together--and Eric LOVED to tickle Jessie, which allowed for some very fun candid shots. Thanks again to Eric & Jessie for allowing us to photograph you two during this special time!
