fall in KY [Dianna & Eric]

I recently got to travel back to Kentucky for what I can only describe as THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ENGAGEMENT SHOOT EVER! :) Ahhhh the crisp fall air, the changing leaves, the southern accents-- I miss it all! But what made it even more special was the two people I got to see while I was there-- enter: Dianna and Eric....

Dianna and Eric are very near and dear to me. For one, Dianna and I went to school together in Kentucky and she's just a great, sweet girl. Secondly, they're just such a great couple and pose oh-so-well for photos :) And three, I get to travel back to Kentucky for their wedding in December which I could not be more excited about!

I hope they love their engagement photos as much I loved taking them! They were such a blast to hang out with during my short visit, but I can't wait to see them again for their big day! Congrats again to Dianna and Eric!

i know i have the same pic listed above, but seriously, doesn't sepia ROCK?

another huge thanks to Dianna and Eric for putting up with my crazy antics and ideas for those couple of hours :) I hope you love your engagements!

Tomeka & Lance [Engagements]

Meet the amazing Tomeka & Lance- this couple was so incredibly cute together! We met on the hottest day Provo could produce (yeah, it wasn't snowing, weird! I know!) but came away with some very cute pictures! During the shoot, we would set Tomeka and Lance up for a pose, but Lance just couldn't hold the pose for very long-- he wanted to look at and kiss his lovely bride-to-be during the whole session. Which was fine by us-- they made for so very cute candid shots. A huge thanks to Tomeka and Lance for being such good sports and a shout out to Shari for playing my lovely assistant for the day!

PS. Many apologies for the tacky logo watermark. We're working on a new logo right now, so it's just a temporary :)

HELLLOOOOO?! They found a tree that had their initials engraved in it! SO meant to be :)

ingrid & alex [engagements]

who knew a rainy day in provo could produce such a fun photo shoot!?! this past weekend, i met up with ingrid and alex early in the afternoon to shoot their engagements before their wedding in july. the rain had been holding out for the most part up until our shoot, but as provo utah weather would have it (not dissing--just stating the facts), the clouds opened up as soon as we met for the shoot, and the light rain held steady throughout. fortunately for me AND the happy couple, they look amazing in the rain too! seriously! ingrid's hair didn't even show it was raining (as opposed to my soaked wet, curly-in-the-rain messy hair).

we began our shoot at an old train yard in south provo, and then headed to the downtown area for some fun brick and graffiti walls. and ingrid found another graffiti wall i was unaware of-- which led us to a whole other ally that i didn't know about it. oh the treasures you can find!

a big thanks to ingrid and alex for being great sports despite the weather, for allowing me to do some unconventional poses, and for just being so incredibly cute together! i had so much fun photographing you both!

and since posts are never fun without pictures, here are a few of my faves from the shoot! To view more photos of ingrid and alex, click here.

aren't they so cute??

and ingrid is GORGEOUS! I always love getting a shot of just the bride-to-be. Every woman deserves a hot pic of themselves. It's one of those must-haves.

ingrid informed me on the shoot that her and alex are both on the latin folk dance team at BYU. needless to say, i HAD to get a few pictures of them busting their moves in the rain. afterall, that's what rainy days are good for :) and HELLO! they are such great dancers!!!
