no, i'm not dying yet. but aren't bucket list concepts so awesome? they push you to your limits, force you to take part of so many opportunities out there, and just make you feel accomplished overall. Well, I'm putting a check in the box on my bucket list next to "half marathon". That's right. It's tomorrow morning. And I'm so psyched. And a little scared. My big goal is to run a real 26.2 marathon, but a half is halfway there (obviously) and still has the word "marathon" in it so it's a little intimidating still :) I picked up my timing chip, shirt and number today tho, so watch out for me tomorrow world! I'm running 13.1 miles!
Here's the map for the race tomorrow. If you just happen to be strolling along any of these streets between 8-11am tomorrow, just give me a little shout out :) I'm number 591! Yay for #591!!!!!
Why is the phrase "kick the bucket" about death? It always makes me think of "kick the can"- which has a completely different connotation....
