livin' on the edge-- sort of

not really. living on the edge could be used to describe my hair if I really chopped it all off. but i really wanted my hair cut again recently and couldn't decide between just getting it trimmed or cutting a good 3-4 inches off. a couple years ago, i got an a-line bob and love love loved it, but wasn't sure if it made my face look fat (yeah, hair can do that...you know how it goes....) so i strayed away from it for a while. but i decided to do it again today. it's a big step since i love wearing my hair up and i can't really do that for a while now.

but anywho, i thought i would hurry and document my new hair while it still has that "i got my hair done at a salon" feeling and smell. ahhh they make your hair feel so nice. thanks so much to the lovely Ivy Fedor. i love her. i wish i could afford to pack her along with me in my back pocket to do my hair everyday and cut it every month. it would be the best. maybe someday...

here are some botch pics i snapped after the cut. sorry, i'm a clown when it's me in front of the camera. a huge thanks to my clients who are thousands times better at posing than me :) these are my failed attempts at model-esque faces. lovely darling, just lovely.

  3. Hi Melissa! Cute hair! Hey, I must admit I am a blog stalker too. I love photography blogs especially! That is so funny and random about your husband. I was thinking to myself the first time I came to your blog that your husband looks very familiar! What a small world! Well feel free to check out my blog any time. I'm still very new at photography but I am always trying new ideas and stuff!
